The Sidle Famiy

On our drive home every day from school, my two sons have noticed the same man on the corner holding a sign that asks for food or help as he is homeless. We noticed him a few times and gave him money once, but then we thought what else we could give him to help.

My sons and I purchased non-perishable food, tissues, hand warmers, new socks and toothbrushes and made several bags to hand out on our drive home. So far we have given five bags to people we see who are less fortunate. My older son told me that it really made him feel good to give to other people who need our help.
