Cheri Williams - Current Parent & Staff Member

My focus as a part-time Thirty-One consultant is fundraising for different organizations in need. This year's holiday giving recipient was Angels' Place, and organization near and dear to my heart. Angels' Place is a non-profit organization that provides homes and services to persons with developmental disabilities. Twenty residential homes are located in Wayne, Oakland & Macomb County. A non-residential program provides community living support services to persons with developmental disabilities and a day program for persons unemployed or underemployed. Angels' Place CARE is FOR LIFE; on average 40 years. Angels[?] Place said the ideal gift would be personalized cinch sacs for ALL 95 residents of their homes. They participate in day trip excursions, and the personalized bags would make things easier for the residents. In addition to the bags, my commission from the sale of the bags, which totaled close to $700, went directly to Angels[?] Place as a donation to help fund a new accessible van for the residents. 100 personalized bags were delivered to Angels' Place before Christmas thanks to the generosity of co-workers, family, and friends. It was a blessing to give back to an organization that gives so much to its' residents and their families.
